Device App

To control the heartbeat device users will download the Embrace App where many features can be adjusted. The Log-In screen indicates clear primary and secondary action styling.

Device Pairing Screen

 

  • Device charge % is largely placed in the center of the screen, to communicate important information
     

  • Only 3 features (sound, vibration, night), designed as a selection panel rather than settings option for quicker use and clearer display of features
     

  • Using semantic color green to confirm the device is connected
     

  • Colors were chosen to reflect sleep/nap time (Navy)
     

  • Pastel pink used as seen in the product package, maintaining brand consistency
     

  • Design hierarchy implemented guiding user to more important buttons (play/pause)

Vibration Control Screen

 

  • Vibration screen has limited options user can toggle on/off​, quick and easy replacing a separate settings page​​​

 

  • Using semantic color green to confirm the device features that are toggled on

 

  • Vibration level slider bar included for user customization

Night Mode Screen

 

  • Allows parent to monitor their baby's vitals while the device is in use 
     

  • Recording feature allows parent to record data collected with the ability to compare previous data collected
     

  • Button touch area carefully sized to accommodate large fingers
